About Scott Casey

Scott Casey, was born in British Columbia, Canada. His lifes journey has led him around the world as a Canadian soldier. Serving in the Royal Canadian Regiment as an infantry soldier, Casey was posted to various bases in Canada and Europe. During which time he volunteered with his unit to act as a United Nations peacekeeping force in the former Yugoslavia. 

Upon returning to Canada, he left the Canadian Armed Forces and saw the full effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).  His journey could have ended tragically but his desire to help others brought him to leading Canada's largest PTSD peer support organization,  Military Minds Inc.

Casey also has penned "Ghostkeepers," an autobiography biography about his time spent as a soldier during the Balkans War.

In his usual humorous way he explains that in his spare time, Casey, has a full time job as a heavy equipment operator in the Thompson-Okanagan of British Columbia.
